Unless your daughter has taken part in gymnastics previously, most girls start their gymnastics career in our recreational section. Here we aim to provide an introduction to the sport of gymnastics and look to develop your daughter’s body awareness, coordination, strength and flexibility in an enjoyable and friendly setting.
During these 2 hour classes we introduce the gymnasts to basic gymnastics skills and elementary apparatus work. Recreational gymnasts are able to participate in Beginner and Intermediate competitions.
Our girls' classes during term time take place on the following days:
Over the Easter, Summer and October holiday periods we operate our holiday timetable where our classes are provided during the day, Monday to Friday, to allow our gymnasts and our coaches time off at weekends to spend with their families.
During holiday periods our classes are provided during the mornings from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and in the afternoons from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm.
Half days, full days and full weeks are available over and above our gymnasts normal weekly sessions and our camps are also open to non-members.
Girls who demonstrate an aptitude for gymnastics are referred for membership of the competitive club.
